Regularly Repeating Events
This page shows the regularly repeating events that have been moved from the Rolling News page. For each event, the next date is given if this is known, otherwise the most recent date is given for information.
Once again, we are grateful to Councillors Deirdre Alden and Matt Bennett for organising these mobile collections.
Because of the increased usage of the Mobile Household Waste Centres during the strike, the Council has decided to currently only locate them on large car park sites. Full instructions are here.
The last event was in the car park of Cannon Hill Park, off Edgbaston Road, B12 9QA. It will be on Sunday April 27th between 10.00am and 3.30pm.
The next event will be posted here in due coiurse.
Household waste, bulky items, recycling and green waste can all be taken there. But please note that recycling will not be recycled. It will all go in the same wagon. The Council also wish to emphasise that no vans are allowed.
Litter Picking
The Litter Picking dates take place on Saturday mornings. Dates for 2025 are as follows. Any changes to these dates will be posted here.
31st May, 28th June, 26th July, 30th August, 27th September, 25th October, 29th November.
All equipment except gloves is provided.

Principle Estate Management have ‘Come and meet the Team’ surgeries, which are held at Boston Tea Party at 30 Harborne Road, Edgbaston B15 3AA. They have now changed the frequency to monthly on the last Tuesday of the month at 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
The next is on 27th May.
24th June, 29th July, 26th August, 30th September, 28th October, 25th November, 30th December are anticipated, but will be confirmed here.
The Edgbaston Village Artisan Markets take place on Greenfield Crescent from 10am to 3pm on the second Saturdays of the month. The next dates Saturday, 10th May 2025.
Then 14th June, 12th July, 9th August, 13th September, 11th October, 8th November are anticipated, but will be confirmed here
The dates are when CRS has a stall are 10th May and August 9th.
