Calthorpe Estate Community Garden

Calthorpe Estates own a car park adjacent to Greenfield Crescent which they plan to turn into a community garden where people who live, work and shop nearby can go for some peace and quiet during the day. It will be secured at night.

The garden is to be designed by pupils at King Edward’s School. They will be helped by experts from the Botanical Gardens.

CRS volunteers will physically help create the garden and then maintain it after its creation. They will provide  manual labour with Calthorpe Estates bringing in the heavy equipment to initially remove the tarmac etc.
