[15.08.26] CE Land Sales update

As promised, we endeavor to keep you up to date with all matters relating to the sales of land by Calthorpe Estates (CE) through regular email communications. Our focus in this update is on four items:

  • The sale at Sir Richard’s Drive, Harborne
  • Progress at Hampshire Drive – the first road sale
  • Sales of small pieces of land
  • Clarification of the situation with the Scheme of Management; many residents are under the impression that this will cease (along with payments!)

[08.07.26] Report of the CRS EGM to discuss the Calthorpe Estates land sales.

The meeting was held at Edgbaston High School for Girls at 19:00 on 2nd July 2026.  150 members attended including Edgbaston MP Preet Gill and local Councillors.

[04.06.26] Calthorpe Estates plans to sell 200 freehold interests by auction.

Calthorpe Estates (CE) have announced a radical and far-reaching plan to sell 200 freehold interests by auction starting in early July.

This represents the sale of remaining open areas such as amenity areas, private roads and most residential blocks over the coming five years.

The first sales are scheduled for July 9.

If you are a paid up CRS member you will be charged the CRS members fee (if there is one) for all social events. if you are not a member there will always be an extra charge (except your first event), but if you live on the Calthorpe Estate, you may join CRS for £10 per household per year and then not be subject to this charge.
If you are a Calthorpe Estate Resident, you may join CRS for £10 per household per year, which means you will pay the CRS members fee (if there is one) for all social events.
Please note that if you are a CRS member, only the two registered persons in your household pay the members fee. If you have selected 'More than two' or 'Variable number', please describe your requirements in the 'Comment' field.
