A brief on the outcome of the Frederick Road inquest

[24.10.25] CRS can report that following the inquest into the fatal incident earlier this year at the cross roads of Frederick Road and St James Road, a prevention of future death notice was issued by the coroner. In response to this, works are to be undertaken to change the flow of traffic and to reduce its amount at the cross roads and improve safety by way of measures to slow vehicles. If you are a paid up CRS member you will be charged the CRS members fee (if there is one) for all social events. if you are not a member there will always be an extra charge (except your first event), but if you live on the Calthorpe Estate, you may join CRS for £10 per household per year and then not be subject to this charge.
If you are a Calthorpe Estate Resident, you may join CRS for £10 per household per year, which means you will pay the CRS members fee (if there is one) for all social events.
Please note that if you are a CRS member, only the two registered persons in your household pay the members fee. If you have selected 'More than two' or 'Variable number', please describe your requirements in the 'Comment' field.
