Regularly Repeating Events
This page shows the regularly repeating events that have been moved from the Rolling News page. For each event, the next date is given if this is known, otherwise the most recent date is given for information.
Once again, we are grateful to Councillors Deirdre Alden and Matt Bennett for organising these mobile collections.
Because of the increased usage of the Mobile Household Waste Centres during the strike, the Council has decided to currently only locate them on large car park sites. Full instructions are here.
The next visit of the Mobile Household Waste Collection service in the ward was scheduled to be at Cannon Hill Car Park on Wednesday October 1st between 7.30am and 1.00pm, but this has now been cancelled by Birmingham City Council. We will post news of forthcoming dates as soon as possible.
Litter Picking
The Litter Picking dates take place on Saturday mornings. Dates for 2025 are as follows. Any changes to these dates will be posted here.
The next 27th September, then 25th October, 29th November.
All equipment except gloves is provided.

Principle Estate Management have ‘Come and meet the Team’ surgeries, which are held at Boston Tea Party at 30 Harborne Road, Edgbaston B15 3AA. They have now changed the frequency to monthly on the last Tuesday of the month at 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
The next is on 30th September, then 28th October, 25th November, 30th December. Dates will be confirmed here.
The Edgbaston Village Artisan Markets take place on Greenfield Crescent from 10am to 3pm on the second Saturdays of the month. The next date is on 11th October and 8th November is anticipated, but will be confirmed here, as will the date when CRS has a stall.
