[07.11.25] Better Streets joins with 15 organisations to make ten tasks of tomorrow’s politicians to address road safety. Their website provides a summary of the problem and a plea/demand to prospective councillors in next year’s elections which you may wish to endorse.

[24.10.25] CRS can report that following the inquest into the fatal incident earlier this year at the cross roads of Frederick Road and St James Road, a prevention of future death notice was issued by the coroner. In response to this, works are to be undertaken to change the flow of traffic and to reduce its amount at the cross roads and improve safety by way of measures to slow vehicles. Further details will be published when available.

[24.10.25] CRS is hosting an evening of poetry readings, Christmas nibbles and drinks plus plenty of chat at the Ruddock Performing Arts Centre, King Edward’s School, Edgbaston Park Road B15 2UA, on December 15th 2025 at 6pm.
